Depicts four rabbinical figures at the height of a studious debate over halacha. In the back is another figure who appears to be listening to the debate and struggling to understand, and in the back right is another man sitting and reading (perhaps Psalms?). At the bottom is an inscription: “Debate.” Signed by the artist. Wooden frame. Framed: 87x73cm. Outside the frame: 68x53cm. Tear in the center. Otherwise good condition.
