Rare certificate of appreciation from the Rebbe HaRayatz, not found in bibliographic lists or in the Ephemera collection of the National Library in Jerusalem. Sent to donors bearing the blessing of the Rayatz under a portrait of the Rebbe: “A blessing of thanks, Admor Rabbi Yosef Yitzhak Schneerson shlita to the donor…[written by hand], I express my heartfelt thanks for your donation to expand Torah and sanctify God’s name, may His blessing spread over you and your family.” Inscriptions and illustrations of pogroms with “Pidyon Shvu’im” and “Tomchei Temimim” and a poem on the importance of Torah. In the center is a stamp with the signature of Rabbi Shmaryahu Gur Aryeh. Lithograph printing designed by M. Bennoon, probably in the late 1940s after the Rayatz reached the United States. 31x24cm. Light tears in the margins, overall good condition.
