Written on Friday of Parshat Beshalach, 1978, on official letterhead of Maran when he was the Rishon LeZion and the Chief Rabbi of Israel. He writes in response to a question sent to him from a resident of Cairo about the synagogues closed after the immigration of Egyptian Jewry to Israel. He ends his letter with a blessing: “May Hashem return and collect all of His nation Israel to our holy land.” Additional page with Maran’s answer to an issue of kashrut stamps on meet. [3] pages written by hand. Overall very good condition.
