Historic document with handwritten details about the division of money in Jerusalem. The upper portion has income “including America, for Americans and Canadians apart from Chicago, some from income of the Va’ad as agreed upon with them…” At the bottom is an interesting note on division of money “rights according to a lottery, the fruit of the estate of Sir Moses Montefiore, ” with a list of 17 kollels in Jerusalem according to a division of 35 recipients, each receiving 5 GBP as detailed. On the second page there are details about the transfer of payments “for the Ashkenazi kollels in Jerusalem, ” with a summary of the total amount of each transfer. [2] leaves. 21x27cm. Moisture stains and wear with a few tears at the edge of pages. Overall good condition.
