Auction 32
Lot 203:
Thick tome, nicely organized writing of the Chumash. This was meant to function as a “Parsha” including Onkelus’s translation around the psukim, but they were only written in a few sections of the book, which caused the work to have especially wide margins. Uniform writing throughout matching central Yemen. Some pages are brown, others are white. Identity of the scribe is unknown. Written probably in the 19th century. 25x18cm. 603 written pages. Defective binding is from a later period and was not professionally done. A number of pages are detached. Overall good condition.
