Additional title pages in French and German. Second section with an additional title page: “MeYarketei Mizrach: the story of my travels in China and Japan and the Far East, etc., with interesting information about the Chinese Jews and their history and their material and moral ways of life in the past and present.” First edition, Jerusalem 1914. Part 1: [6], 106 pages. Part 2: [1], 59, [1] page.

2. Shivtei Yaakov v’Netzurei Yisrael, “research material on the Ten Tribes”. Title pages in Hebrew and English in red ink. First edition, Haifa 1928. [4], 203, [1] page. Stains, a few moth holes in this second book, no damage to text. Overall good condition.

Zvi Casday (Cozodoy/Cosidoy) lived from 1862-1937 and was an author and historian of the Jewish people and Judaism. Among his known works are “LeHar Sinai”, “HaMityahadim” and “Mita’ateh HaShmad”, in which he called for adjustments to the way of life of Jews in Russia after the Revolution in February 1917 and for the recognition of equal rights.
