Typewritten letter signed by Rabbi Meir Bar Ilan-Berlin, from when he lived in Rehavia. Addressed to the leader of the Jewish Agency, Mr. David Ben Gurion, later Israel’s first Prime Minister. He attacks Ben Gurion for a certain issue regarding the authority of the Jewish Agency: “I am sorry that your sin against me hasn’t been erased but rather has been emphasized…and that you didn’t even feel the need to speak to me about it…there is still time to correct it…I am at your command in my wish that you address this issue in a manner different from how you have until now…”. Interesting material, not investigated thoroughly. Size: 27.5x21cm. Signs of folding, generally good condition.

He founded the HaTzofeh newspaper, the Talmudic Encyclopedia, and was the first editor. He also established the Yeshiva University in the US.
