“Jonas illustrates…cura atque studio Frid. Alb. Christiani, Judaei Conversi.” Sefer Yonah (the Book of Jonah) with Targum Yonatan, and around it the Mesorah Ketana and Gedolah and the commentaries of Rashi, ibn Ezra, the Radak and Abarbanel. In the margins is a short Hebrew-Latin lexicon. Two title pages, one each in Hebrew and Latin. And a poem in Hebrew in honor of the learned students who helped to publish the book (the names are Friedrich Albrecht Christian (F. A. C. in Latin), by the convert ‘scribe’, Justinus Brand (born Baruch ben Moshe of Prostitz. [3], 83; [17] pp. 15.5cm. Stains, tape and reinforcement on some pages with light damage to text. Binding is from a later period. Overall good condition.
