Complete set (3 volumes) of the Zohar ‘by the Tana Rabbi Shimon bar Yochay’, printed by the famous printing house of Slavita, led by Rabbi Shmuel Avraham Shapira, son of the Slavita Rav. The volumes with Genesis and Exodus are from 1824, and the third volume with Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy are from 1827. Important endorsements: Admor Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Aphtha, Rabbi Haim HaKohen the Av Beit Din of Pinsk, and the grandson of the Ba’al Shem Tov, Admor Rabbi Ephraim of Sadilkov (the Degel Machaneh Ephraim). The first volume, p. 2, has a “psak of the gaon Rabbi Yitzhak Daltash” on yichus of the Zohar and the mitzvah to study it. [4], 251, 17, [1], 278, 309 leaves. Printed mostly on light-blue paper, the title page has red ink. New handsome leather bindings, professional restoration on some pages, and other than moth damage in the last volume it is in overall good condition. Given in a nice matching box.

The body of the book has notes handwritten, the first volume in Sefardi handwriting; the last volume has a stamp of ownership in Cyrillic characters, and the first page has the inscription: “Moga” with a blurred stamp of ownership with the inscription “Ahuva” and “Tzfat.”
