Portrait of Admor Rabbi Issachar Dov of Belz. Given in a wooden frame. Signed by the artist. Including the frame: 30×35. Outside the frame: 21x26cm. Light defects to the frame. Generally very good condition. Victor Brindatch is a Jewish-Russian artist, who resides and works in Israel today. He is a member of the Artists’ and Sculptors’ Guild of Israel, and used to be a member of the Plastic Artists’ Guild in the USSR. His work draws much from daily life and the Israeli mentality, Jewish folklore and the changing situation in the country. In his paintings he describes most of the current political issues, among his works depicting situations and events related to Jews in Israel and around the world: paintings and celebrations, soldiers and battles of European Jews. His work fills many exhibitions in Israel and around the world, due to his unique style that earned him a place of honor among the artists of our generation.
