Identity of the scribe unknown, though the handwriting is very professional and pretty. 3 first pages, 4 pages from Yitro, and the 9 last pages were added in by a later scribe, nice handwriting. In the middle of Parshat Yitro there is a bill of sale of the book, from 1927, “Yahya ben Saliman Tzabari, on the haftarah and the parshah, bought from Yehuda ben Daoud Alimini…for 60 grushim…in the presence of witnesses” with the signature of the purchaser. Old leather binding is suitable for the period of the later additions, and is defective. 144 pages, including the additions. Pages disconnected. A few moth holes, stains, tears, and signs of use. Generally good condition.
