Buyer's premium:

Wonderful, thick manuscript with prayers for holidays throughout the year, with upper niqqud. According to the order of the prayers, it is noticeably the Baladi nusach. However, the Seder Avodah appears according to the order of Rabbi Shlomo ibn Gvirol and Rabbi Avraham ibn Ezra, which was not accepted in Yemen at that time, so it appears that the writer tried to suit this siddur according to all the various traditions present in Yemen at the time. Nice, artistic handwriting, with explanations about words in the seder avodah and other piyyutim, and halachot in a number of places, including Amel el Sukkah (Halachot of making the sukkah) in Judeo-Arabic. More than 550 handwritten pages. Rear binding is old and from the period of its writing; no front binding, and the spine is not attached professionally. Identity of the scribe is unknown, but seems to be a talmid chacham. 16x11cm. Tears, mainly at the edges. Stains and signs of use. No moth marks. Generally good condition.
