An important essay in the Kabbalah by the great Kabbalist Rabbi Meir ben Halifa Bikayam, first edition published during his lifetime, 1737 according to the bibliographic catalogue although the title page shows another value (1716). At the end of the book is Archei HaKinuim by the author, and Darash Moshe by Rabbi Moshe Tsuntsin, [2], 58 pages, [2], then unstable numbering full of mistakes, moth damage, lots of tape including the title page, stains, medium general condition. Interesting signature on the title page: "The Young Chaim Faraj" see below. And a stamp of Sefardi ownership that has not been examined in depth. Many glosses in Sefardi writing are significant. Signature of Rabbi Faraj Chaim Yehuda ben Shlomo Yehezkel (1846-1896). A Baghdad scholar, he immigrated to Jerusalem together with his brother Rabbi Binyamin and founded a separate community for Babylonian immigrants in Jerusalem, headed by them. He went on a mission in India to collect money for the establishment of the "Shimon HaTzaddik" neighborhood. Died on his way back from India.
