Chiddushei HaRashba on the Five Shitot. [1], 103 pages. Cover of the book has 3(!) different signatures of Rabbi Haim Khuri, and two types of stamps of his. Worn binding, disconnected. Moth holes and slight tears. Otherwise good condition. The sage Rabbi Haim Khuri (1885-1957) was Rabbi of Gabes in Tunisia and a leading rabbi of Tunisian Jewry in the 20th century. In 1955, when he was 70, he moved to Israel, resided in his son’s home in Bnei Brak for a short time, and then settled in Be’er Sheva, where he died 2 years later and is buried. He translated many books, including Tziporen Shamir by HaHida. He authored Derech Hayyim on the Torah and Shas, Chesed v’Emet, with drashot and exegeses in memory of various sages, and “Niflaot Gedolot.” His son is Rabbi Yanon Khuri, a rabbi of the Kiseh Rahamim yeshiva.
