Auction 27
Lot 175:
Lazem, a large necklace for a woman as a charm, made with stamped silver, with gemstones and silver beads. The silver is done with filigree work, made by hand, very special. In the center is a silver housing, closed (probably with an amulet inside). The main elements (the amulet, the circles, and the charms on the sides) are in odd numbers against the Evil Eye. Stamped silver by the artist on the back. Probably done in villages of Yemen. Generally very good condition, rare to find it so complete. Larger than average. Total weight 260g.
