1. The book Shevach Pesach, Pesach Haggadah with a commentary on halacha and Aggadah by Rabbi Yishmael son of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen of Modena, one of the foremost Italian rabbis. He was friendly with the Chida who mentions him many times. Livorno, 1790. Incomplete copy. [2], 83 leaves. Originally 64 leaves. Tears with damage to text, primarily at the edges of the first and last leaves. Title page is blemished. Last leaf is missing. Wine stain and other stains. Worming holes. Overall moderate condition. 2. The book Emet L’Yaakov part one, commentaries and homilies on Etz Chaim, Mevo Shearim and Shaar Hahakdamot by Rabbi Chaim Vital by the kabbalist Rabbi Yaakov Shaaltiel Nino of Jerusalem (circa 1800-1849), grew up with the kabbalists of the Bet El Yeshiva, travelled abroad as emissary for Tiberius and made a tremendous impression in every place he visited. Rabbi Mordechai Shmuel Gerondi met him and wrote about their meeting in his book Toldot Gedolei Yisrael (page 359): “I had the honor of greeting him when he passed through as an emissary, and I saw his piousness and his abstinence from worldly matters, studying Torah lishma” – only edition, Livorno, 1843.
