A large and magnificent crown for a Torah scroll. At the top is a gold-plated bunch of flowers and birds. Under them are various decorations, including 6 figures of the face of a lion. In the center are lions holding branches that hold the upper crown. Made in parts that are screwed and welded. At the base are breathtaking decorations of 6 eagles, an eagle spreading its wings, a basket of fruit and various flowers, some in vases. Made in parts that are screwed and welded. Bells hung from the center of the crown. Without silver hallmarks. Probably Galicia/Ukraine, late 18th/early 19th century. Examined silver. Slight blemishes. Good overall condition. Total weight: 1624 grams. Total height: 40 cm. Diameter of the base: 18 cm.
