A miniature ark of carved wood. On its top is a breathtaking carving in gold-colored wood, of lions holding the tablets of the covenant, with a royal crown at the top of the Tablets. The doors of the ark are decorated with reliefs of gold-plated vines. On the sides is a gold-plated relief of the menorah. The ark stands on four lion legs. A rare and magnificent item. Dimensions: Maximum height: 101 cm. Width: 35 cm. Depth: 25 cm. Internal dimensions: 33x14x48 cm. 20th century. Blemishes and slight repairs. Very good overall condition.
