This is the book Adam Yashar that was written by the great rabbi Rabbi Yitzchak Luria (the Ari) Ashkenazi. Printed according to a manuscript found among the books of his foremost disciple Rabbi Chaim Vital, and was arranged and prepared for print by the kabbalist Rabbi Yaakov Tzemach who saw most of the writings of Rabbi Chaim Vital, as he wrote in the introduction to his book ‘Kol Berama’ where he also discusses the great level of this book. Approbations from the Divrei Yechezkel of Shinova and others. Ownership signature: “Aharon Saltak”. Bound with the book Mevo She’arim by Rabbi Chaim Vital – Krakow, 1883. With handwritten glosses and comments, and ownership signatures (in both books): Yitzchak son of Lipel for 10 zehubim. [1], 94 leaves. [1], 70 leaves. Stains on some of the leaves, magnificent copy in good condition.
