The book Torat Natan, by the kabbalist Rabbi Natan Shapiro, one of the disciples of the Ari, a work on kabbalah “instructs how to understand things concealed and hidden in the Zohar and the Tikkunim.” With important approbations from the rabbis of the time and Rebbes of Poland. A notable approbation is that of Rabbi Elimelech, the Rebbe of Grodzhisk, known by the Polish chassidim as “the king”. An extremely rare approbation as he rarely gave approbations. There are also approbations from the gaon of Ostrovtza, the Avnei Nezer of Sochatchov, and others. In the names of those who volunteered to buy the book before it was published, we can see all the big names of Polish Jewry. The first to appear is the Sfat Emmet of Gur with his brother-in-law Rabbi Pinchas Menachem and his brothers the Imrei Emet of Gur and Rabbi Moshe Bezalel, together with the brother-in-laws of the Rabbi of Bedzin and other rabbis and Rebbes from other villages. Printed with the book Likutei Amarim – a work of kabbalah by the publisher Rabbi Meir Bronstein son of Rabbi Mordechai Halevi of Radom. First edition, Warsaw 1894. 58 leaves, 115 pages, 30 leaves, 60 pages. Title page is restored at the edges, rebound, a few stains, good overall condition.
