Buyer's premium:

A volume of the Talmud Bavli with the tractates: Chulin, Kritut, Archin, Temura, Me’ila, Kinim, Tamid and Middot – Warsaw, 1868. Contains hundreds of glosses in Ashkenazi handwriting from the period of printing. Some of them are long and scholarly, attesting that their author was a great scholar. Some deal with the simple meaning of the text and some with understanding the logic of the Talmud and the Tosefot. One interesting comment could perhaps reveal something about the identity of the writer. In tractate Chulin page 8b he writes: “In my work (!) on Yoreh Deah siman 69” The writer’s identity was not checked. [1], 142; 28; 34; 34; 37 leaves. Original binding, detached without a spine. Slight stains. Good overall condition.
