The first book printed from the teachings of the Maggid of Mastrich[his name is hinted at the end of the letters of the book, “Dov”] – And the copies of the supplication of Rabbeinuor the Seven Days, the Baal Shem Tov, and the third book of Hasidism that came in print [after the ToldotYa’akov Yosef and Ben Porat Yosef, also printed in the same place] – first edition printed by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Son of AriehLeib [Margaliot] and his son-in-law Rabbi Shmuel ben Yissachar Ber Segal Karatz, 1781. StefanskyChassidut, no. 324. Partially missing copy, originally [4], 60 pages. This copy begins on page 2, goes until p. 59. The missing pages were professionally completed, the title page is missing and 4 additional pages are missing. Re-bound with a magnificent leather binding with rings. Various stains. Page corners and moth holes professionally restored with paper fill. Overall good condition. Interesting detail in this copy, on several leaves handwritten inscriptions with the names of people as a sort of Kvitlach, which were recorded as a segula.
