A small booklet “Yehudit – Historishe Farshtalung in Funf Szenen” [a historical story in five acts], a play in Yiddish by Sara Schnerer [Schnirer] published by Artadaxische Kinder Bibliotek [Beit Yaakov] [1921]. The book does not appear in bibliographic texts, and does not appear in the National Library and in the various libraries around the country [contents appear only in the play book, Netzach Publishing, Tel Aviv, 1954.] Envelope binding. 32 pages. 15cm. Minor tears. Overall good condition. Sara Schnirer (1883-1935) – educator, teacher and Haredi educational activist, Yiddish writer and playwright. She founded the Beit Yaakov network for Haredi education for girls whose first branch was founded in Krakow, Poland, in 1918.
