She’iltot of Rabbi Ahai Gaon, with the Rishon LeZiyyon and Sheilat Shalom, first edition with the Biur HaEmek She’ela by Rabbi Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin (the Natziv) of Volozhin—first section, Vilna 1861. 14, 246 pages. Stains, handsome complete copy with two covers. Defective binding, no spine. Blank front page has an amazing note by Rabbi Shabtai HaKohen Rapaport on the yichus of their family, until Rabbeinu Shabtai HAKohen (the Shach). Additional note of ownership of Rabbi Yitzhak Haim Rapaport of Krakow. Rabbi Shabtai HaKohen Rapaport (1885-1943) was a dayan and motz and member of the Krakow rabbinical association, son of Rabbi Yitzhak Haim Rapaport (died 1921), the Av Beit Din of Ostrova and then Krakow.
