The book Likutei Amarim Tanya. By Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi. 11 cm. The books were printed in a mobile printing press, on the IDF base in Faid, Egypt, immediately after the Yom Kippur War, at the instruction of the Lubavitcher Rebbe “To show that Africa, or as it was called, ‘Egypt’ was not captured through our own strength, but ‘through My sprit says the God of Hosts’. The first edition was made possible through the efforts of Zvi Lipsker and required a special permit from Ariel Sharon, which caused a stir in the media at the time about the dedication and self-sacrifice of Chabad chassidim throughout the world.
