With endorsements of sages of Jerusalem, Venice, and Livorno. | Page 1(1) has a gloss in Mizrahi handwriting, some in ink and some in pencil. | Rabbi David ben Shlomo ibn Zimra (Ridbaz) (1479-1574), Av Beit Din and leader of Egyptian Jewry and author of the Shot HaRadbaz, was the one who abolished the use of the Seleucid dating system in the Egyptian Jewish community and reintroduced the dating of years from Creation, as was done in other Jewish communities and continues to be done until the present day. Among his well-known students was Rabbi Betzalel Ashkenazi, author of the Shita Mekubetzet.
