Livorno 1837. The Sage Ephraim HaKohen and Rav Aharon HaKohen. Throughout the book are stamps of the former, while the cover and end of book have signatures of the latter. Back of the cover bears a handwritten note by Rav Aharon HaKohen regarding a dream he was asked about and the answer he gave. Rabbi Ephraim Zalka HaKohen (1885-1956) was the father of Shalom Kohen), a head of the Porat Yosef yeshiva, student of the Ben Ish Hai. A rabbi of Rav Yitzhak Khadori, Rav Mordechai Eliyahu. Rabbi Aharon HAKohen was in regular contact with the greatest kabbalists in Jerusalem. He moved to Israel at the end of his life from Egypt and is buried in Jerusalem. | Light moth marks.
