In a large format, written and illustrated by hand using watercolors and charcoal on paper. On a background of drawn flowers and a pair of doves. In the bottom half appears the wording of the ketubah, written entirely by hand by a scribe, using half-cursive handwriting. For the marriage of Baba ben Pinchas to Betoni bat Yaakov. Persia, 1814. Signatures of the witnesses and mesader kedushin. Given in a pretty frame made of two thick sheets of Perspex (two colors) | Signs of folding, repairs in the folds. Not checked outside the frame. 71x95cm, or 76×100 in the frame. Generally good condition.
