Buyer's premium:

Cutting work, covered in velvet and fabric on cardboard, at the top is the word Shadai, under it is the name of the homeowner. Decorations done artistically via cutting, floral shapes. Made entirely of silver, and probably came from an established family. Rare. Generally very good condition. 27x19cm. The “Jeta del Mezuzah” was a handsome cover that Moroccan Jewry would traditionally use to cover the mezuzah at the entrance to the home, an important piece of Judaica for a Moroccan family. A woman would traditionally bring it to her home after her wedding and her name would be on the cover.
