Ketubah, printed on parchment. The Knesset Yisrael congregation [Ashkenazi liturgy], London. | The Ketubah is printed on parchment, on both sides. On the front is the regular wording in Hebrew, in the top part of the leaf are floral decorations, and in the center are the words: “Holy Congregation Knesset Yisrael – United Synagogue London” and two flower bedecked pillars on both sides of the Ketubah. Filled out by hand in the document: The groom’s name: Baruch Hirsch son of Moshe HaCohen. And the bride: Feiga daughter of Yitzchak. The Date: Tuesday, 19 Sivan 5672 [1912]. And the witnesses: Yisrael son of Yitzchak Rosenberg, Cantor. And Menachem son of Zvi HaCohen. Along the leaf on the left hand side are the names in English [to be used by the officiating Rabbi]. On the second side of the leaf is a copy of the Ketubah in English. Rare. 34×23 cm. Overall condition: Good.
