Composed by one of his students, published by the Histadrut “Adat Yerushalayim.” Jerusalem 1935. Includes his picture, story of his life, coronation, letters of blessing, and more. Only edition. | He lived 1873-1961, was rabbi of Jerusalem, a great posek, a founder of the Chief Rabbinate, member of the Council of Torah Sages, and Chief Ashenazi Rabbi of Jerusalem from 1936-1961. Born in Kovna, he studied at the Telz and Slobodka yeshivot, and after immigrating to Israel continued studying at the Torat Hayyim yeshiva. In 1908 he was appointed as a dayan at the Ashkenazi court in Jerusalem, and in 1918 was appointed Av Beit Din, after the resignation of Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak HaKohen Kook, who was appointed Rabbi of Jerusalem, but he refused to be made Chief Rabbi of Israel. Thousands of his halachic responsa were printed in the series “Shot Har Zvi.” | 52 pages. 16cm, generally good condition.
