Lot of 3 covers for a French sefer torah. 1. Silver embroidery and gilding on red velvet. Exceptional cover because of the motifs and the dedication—priestly hands and an inscription from a family of Levites who dedicated the cover, in 1853. Length 90cm, width 44cm. Generally good condition. 2. Silver embroidery with gilding on red velvet, exceptional cover donated by the synagogue membership, with decorations of flowers in the middle and a keter torah at the top. 1870 approximately. Length 98cm, width 43cm. Generally very good condition. 3. Silver thread embroidery with gilding on brown embroidery. A bouquet of leaves in the center with a Star of David on top and a keter torah, dedication by Reb Yitzhak bar Zvi (Kohen Tzedek), 1940. Tear and resewn at the top (not exact). Length 60cm. Width 30cm.
