The Ramchal saw a need to publish this holy book because many fell in under the false prophet Shabtai Zvi, and thus wanted to “destroy the lie and remove the misbeliefs that caused people to fail” [Koenigsberg 1862]. First edition. 2. Magen Vezina, a debate and proofs regarding the Zohar, by Rabbi Isaac Haver, student of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Shklov, student of the Vilna Gaon. On page 63 are printed collections from the Gra on the idea of Tzimtzum. On page 35 is printed the story of the dybbuk of Stolovitz. Koenigsberg 1855, first edition.
