Anna Rychter-May – an Alleyway in Jerusalem. Watercolor on paper. Dimensions: 30×22 cm. Signed and described Jerusalem. In the 1930’s the first anthroposophical community began to be formed in the Land of Israel, one of whose foremost activists was Anna Rychter-May. In the mid 1920’s she immigrated to Jerusalem, where she painted pictures which became famous in the world of orientalist artists. Their high quality mainly led to positive criticism in exhibitions of Bezalel. Good condition.
