A general kvittel, which bears the names of all those who donated Ma’amadot (a sum of money a chassid gives to his Rebbe, thereby strengthening his bond to the righteous man as explained at length in holy books) sent by the chassidim of Husiyatin to their rabbi the Rebbe Rabbi Yaacov of Husiyatin. The kvittel is signed by twenty one chassidim with their name, their mother’s name and their surname. The kvittel bears the date the month of Av 1950 and at the end has their request "for peace and health for all those associated with them and for success and abundant sustenance and salvation". In the marginis the Rebbe’s signature: "Yaacov son of Rabbi Yitzchak". | Rabbi Yaacov Friedman of Husiyatin [1878-1955], son of the Rebbe Rabbi Yitzchak of Bohush and grandson of the Kadosh Yisrael of Ruzhin. At the age of 16 he married the daughter of his uncle the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael of Husiyatin, and after his father-in-law’s death was appointed as Rebbe of Husiyatin.
