A long, 33-line letter. In Yiddish from 1933. In the handwriting of the Bostoner Rebbe Rabbi Pinchas David HaLevi Horowitz. Rabbi Pinchas David HaLevi Horowitz ("the Bostoner Rebbe") 1876-1941, was the first Rebbe in the dynasty of rebbes of the Bostonchassdiut, which he led from 1914 until his death in 1941. He was a descendant on his father’s side of Rabbi Pinchas Horowitz (the "Hafla’ah") and his brother Rabbi Shmelke of Nikolsberg. On his mother’s side he was the grandson of Rabbi Elazar Mendel Biderman of Lelov, and a descendant of the Chozeh of Lublin, the Yehudi HaKadosh of Peshischaand Rabbi Neta of Chelm. The letter is on an official letterhead. Fold marks. Good overall condition.
