Two letters on an official letterhead of ‘The Mikvaot Committee in Bayit V’Gan’ in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Yehoshua Neuwirth. Dated 21st Shevat and 6th Elul 1980 respectively. To the deputy mayor of Jerusalem Mr. Shmuel Shaulson regarding paving a road leading to the mikveh used by the residents of the Bayit V’Gan neighborhood and the surrounding area which is crucial to the purity of Jewish homes. | Rabbi Yehoshua Neuwirth [1927-2013], a rabbi and rosh yeshiva in Jerusalem, author of the monumental work ‘Shemirat Shabbat Kehilchata’ on the laws of Shabbat and festivals.
