Student of Rabbi David Burnstein, the Admor of Sochatchov. After the war he was appointed the rabbi of the survivor communities in Germany. His personal journal, answers, and articles from the Shoah and afterwards constitute an authentic testimony and give a unique perspective on the events of the Shoah from the eyes of a rabbi.
