Lot 242:
Complete set of five volumes, on each of the five books of Torah (each has a separate volume). Binding covered in red cloth, with gilded inscriptions. Published by the Mekorot Library, Jerusalem, 1968. Only 200 copies. The book is by Rabbi Shimon HaDarshan. Includes midrash and aggadot, including midrashim that were lost over the ages, such that Yalkut Shimoni is the only text preserving them. The date when it was written is unknown, but it is believed to have been the start of the 13th century. Generally very good condition.
