Handsome binding covered in cloth, with gilded inscriptions. Makor publishing, with special permission from the National Library in Hamburg; Jerusalem 1972. Facsimile edition in which only 160 copies were created. Hamburg Manuscript #169 is one of the most important manuscripts of the Talmud Bavli, with many changes in wording. In the margins of the manuscript is a large and extremely important collection of notes on changes in wording, collected by a later author from various manuscripts that have not survived. [8], 142 pages. 29cm. Generally very good condition.
