Copy of the Lisbon manuscript Tanach – decorated and illustrated with a delicate technique using a rich variety of wonderful colors. Done by Shmuel HaSofer Ibn Musa of Lisbon in 1482. The copy was done with the manuscript #2626, British Library. Includes a long, erudite introduction discussing the culture of manuscripts of Portuguese Jewry, and is accompanied by copies of relevant manuscripts, by Gavriel Sad-Reina (translated by Shalom Tzabar). Published by Nahar-Maskel, in cooperation with the British Library – London. Printed in Israel, 1988. | The book was printed on high-quality paper, using a special technique of copying and printing to make sure that it was an accurate facsimile of the original. Bound in handsome leather binding with gilded inscriptions. The dedication is on official letterhead, by the judges of the District Court, among them the Court President and State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss, to the judge Yosef Zahavi.
