State medallion. On the front are the walls of Jerusalem and David’s Citadel, and the inscription “For Jerusalem’s sake I will not be silent” in Hebrew and English. Back: A flame, and the inscription “This Year in Jerusalem” in Hebrew and English. Around it “United Jewish Appeal” and at the border of the coin: “State of Israel.” Silver 935. Diameter 60mm. Weight: 116g. Sold in a handsome case made of wood covered in velvet with a dedicatory engraving. Generally very good condition.
