Kiddush cup, with delicate engraving work of shapes and plants. On one side is a dedication, and on the other are the initials W.J. It is possible that the cup was given as a gift to the gaon Rabbi Yisrael Welz (1887-1974), Av Beit Din in Budapest until the Shoah, and then a teacher in Jerusalem. Known as the “Divrei Yisrael” for his book of shot. Height: 8cm. Weight: 51g. Generally very good condition.
