By the ever holy Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaKohen of Radin, who removed his name from the book and whose name goes unmentioned in the endorsements, except in the margins of the cover in Russian: Y. M. Kagan. Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaKohen (1838-1933), known as the ChafetzHayyim because of the book before us now, was one of the greatest poskim of the last generations, and is known by the entire Jewish People. Studied in Vilna, taught in Vasiliški, and established his yeshiva in Radin.
