Lot 305:
On reciting shema in bed, and the seder of Shabbat evening. No cover. Rabbi Emmanuel bar Shalom Nakash immigrated from Yemen (see about him in the memory book of Rav Yosef HaLevi on the first Aliyah, by Yehuda Ratzhavi). The story is famous, that his father appeared to his mother in a dream after he died, and ordered her to moved to Israel. She didn’t follow through, so he returned in another dream and threatened her. She went to the rabbis of Yemen and asked them about the dream, and she did end up immigrating in 1882. [7], 34 pages. 24x19cm. Very good condition.
