Hebrew and English (on opposite pages). Published by the printer Lifshitz, 1953. Bound with handsome silver binding with engraving, welding, and nice filigree work. The front has delicate filigree work of the Ten Commandments on the Two Tablets in miniature letters, above them is a turquoise gem and around are weldings of grapevines and clusters of grapes. The back is welded with symbols and names of the twelve tribes. Rosettes in the corners. The spine is also made of silver, with words burned in Hebrew and English: Torah, Neviim, Ketuvim; The Holy Bible. With a clasp for closing the volume made of silver, with a date palm and the words “Jerusalem Israel.” 1979 [2] page. 12x14cm. Generally very good condition.
