Lot 334:
The Ari synagogue in Tzfat by one of the founders of the Union of Artists and Sculptors and a founderof the Tel Aviv Museum. Born in 1901 in Bóbrka, next to Lviv (Galicia), moved to Israel and starting from the 1950s until his death in Tzfat he dealt with drawing landscapes and Tzfat. The subjects were the Yishuv and the landscapes of the Galilee. The work before us is one of his first, when he was a pioneer in Batanya Ilit. Signed. 38x28cm, generally very good condition.
