A halachic answer on an issue of freeing an agunah. Later printed in the Shot of the Admor, published after his death by his son (Simanim 26, 34). The letter before us is a copy of a letter from the Ba’al HaTanya (by hand) written by one of his relatives or close associates. [1] sheet of paper folded into four pages: 97 1, [97 2], 98 1, [982], 22x17cm for each. Size of the sheet: 34x22cm. Thick paper. Stains and light tears in the folds. 2 moth holes. Generally good condition.
