Shana tova printed letter from 1975, with an additional blessing written by hand and signed by the Admor Rabbi Aryeh Leivish Halberstam. Attached to the letter is the worn envelope in which it was sent. | Rabbi Aryeh Leivish Halberstam (1912-2007) was the Admor of Sanz-Zmigrod. Born in Zmigrod to Rabbi Sinai Halberstam, son of Rabbi Baruch Halberstam of Gorlitz, and grandson of the Divrei Haim of Sanz. Was the student of the Gaon of Tshevin, Rabbi Dov Barish Weidenfeld, Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin, and Rabbi Shimon of Zlikov. After the war he moved to Israel and settled in Petah Tikva, where he established the Divrei Haim yesiva, and over the years moved to Rabbi Akiva street in Bnei Brak. Authored the series Aryeh Sha’ag, with seven volumes. In his last years, he became famous as a miracle worker, and many from Israel and the world went to him for help. Signs of folding. 14x16cm.
