Lot 085:
Stamped Alt-Vienna by 1860 and the stamp M.G. Seem not to be original, done later on the megillah housing. The case is decorated with nice decorations, floral and geometric shapes. At the bottom of the case are petals, from within which one can see the decorated rolling handle. At the top of the megillah is a figure of a bird connected to the handle and which rotates together with it. The case has a silver clasp with a matching handle. Size of the housing: length 9cm, diameter 4cm. The length including the handle and bird: 20cm. Weight: 195g. Generally very good condition.
